67-layer Damascus / Chef knife
Blackforge™Chef KnifeHardened Damascus steel
A super sharp, reliable blade made of hardened Damascus steel
Real stabilized wood handle · High-carbon stainless steel · Made for everyday kitchen work
01 / The steel
Beautiful and practical.
Blackforge pairs a high-carbon stainless cutting core with 33 stainless layers on each side. The result is a blade that balances a fine, hard edge with resistance to rust and staining.
The core is made of 10Cr15CoMoV — a hard and durable stainless steel alloy that keeps your blade sharp and resistant to staining and rust

A super sharp edge.
Sharpened to around 15° per side, the fine edge makes easy work of vegetables, herbs, meat and fish with little pressure.
Hard, sharp and durable
A 10Cr15CoMoV high-carbon stainless cutting core, rated approximately 60±2 HRC, is built for edge retention and resistance to rust and staining.
Beautiful layers with a purpose.
Thirty-three stainless layers on either side of the cutting core create the 67-layer Damascus construction and its distinctive patterned blade.

02 / Form follows function
A blade with character. A handle with a story.
The dark hammered upper blade takes its cue from Japanese tsuchime knives. Its small indentations help food not stick by reducing the surface that sits flat against each slice. Below, the Damascus pattern catches the light with a beautiful visual pattern.
The stabilized real-wood handle is treated with resin to handle moisture better and resist swelling. Natural color and grain make each one a little different.
03 / At the board
One knife for all of your everyday uses.
Onions, herbs, vegetables, fruit, fish, meat, the Blackforge does almost everything. The tall chef's-knife profile gives your knuckles room at the board; the approximately 0.10 in / 2.5 mm spine feels solid without being bulky.
